I was born in Barrie, Ontario in 1950 and moved to Sudbury at the age of three.

At the age of 27, I purchased my first Nikon camera and darkroom equipment. Shortly after that I taught myself the art of photography, film development and printmaking.

My first twenty years of photography was mostly black and white with some kodachrome. I'm happy to report that my photographs have been sold throughout the world and all across Canada.

Since 2003 my photography is almost exclusively digital colour and black and white, and depicts the unique character of the Sudbury region and surrounding areas.
